A Source of Support: Girl Scouting and the Formation of Catholic Girls

As is commonly known, the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio signed a Memorandum of Understanding in 2013, which was then renewed in 2016. The Memorandum explains the nature of the relationship, responsibilities to be carried out by both parties, and so forth. The present document, “A Source of Support: Girl Scouting and the Formation of Catholic Girls,” aims to provide some reasoning as to why the Catholic Church finds great value in the longstanding relationship with Girl Scouts. In other words, this document wishes to speak to the why behind the what of the Memorandum of Understanding.
